My 15 year old Peke, has had ulsers in her eyes most of her life. She is blind now and still gets ulsers from time to time. she reqires special eye drops and cream from the vet. they say it is common in large eyed dogs with short snouts. it also has to do with the wrinkle on the nose, the ammount of hair, and shortness of snout, and how big the eyes are, they get stuff in the eyes and they get infected. I've been battling that for years. and Yes it is very common according to my vet. thats all I know about it.---Brigitte Riggs
