Pekingese Q&A Board: Walks

I read in the "pekingese traits" on Todd's pages that pekingese dogs like taking long walks. I recently visited a Pekingese breeder who told me that Pekingese dogs cannot go for long walks because they suffer from heart problems and risk to have heart attacks. Who is right then ? Or else, what does long walk means ?
