You need to get really firm with this little guy, a little "tap" on the nose might not be enough. If he is only leash when he growls, give him a sharp "correction" which is a quick tug on the leash, enough so that he finds it very unpleasant. You must di this every time he growls so that he will learn that each time he growls, he will be corrected. He'll get the message. By doing this, you will also show him who is in charge in your household! YOU!
