Your little peke has to be taught a few manners of what is acceptable
behavior and what is not, so the first is to teach him what" NO" means,
this can be done immediately, when he does growl at you, say a very firm
"NO", and a VERY LIGHT tap on the nose,repeat till he learns he cannot
growl at you, after he has learned, just the word "No" should be all that
is required to make him behave. The same thing should be done if he snaps
at children, but as some pekes, just do not tolerate children then he
should be kept away from children. Best of luck.
