Dogs are "pack animals", meaning the instinct is to run in packs, alot
of dogs together, as in the wilds there always has to be a pack "leader
", so they fight for dominency, the most dominent one becomes the leader
and all other dogs from that pack form their own "pecking" order. Sounds
like they both want to be dominent, in a case like this, it is better to
keep them seperated at all times. Some times they just never will give
in and let the other dog be the dominent figure.
