well I read a lot about the breed but it always seems that they have to have long fur. my dogs are under 10lbs. and they are of light golden colorfur but have short fur not short short but short compared to other standard pekes. I just wonder if my dogs are of pure breed. They don't have papers. If they don't, are they not considered pure? because they do look like pekes for sure. can someone answer my question and tell me what a standard peke is supposed to look like
