My husband and I are interested in becoming human parents to a Pekingese dog. My husband used to own a Pekingese and is familiar with the breed. We live in a 2-bedroom apartment in Seattle, Washington. We are the apartment managers. I am 50 and my husband is 50-something. I walk 3 days per week in the mornings with a friend from work who walks her dog, Ralph. We would take out dog with us whenever possible and give it much love. You can't really hug a bird or a fish and honestly, cats don't produce the same type of love that a dog is capable of. I do not know the prices of Pekingese or how one goes about interviewing for one. Could someone help me (us?), Thanks, Cathy
