My son has been wanting a small dog, and today a girl in one of my classes offered me her "miniature" pekingese. It's a female, not spayed, born 2/14/97. She said her brother-in-law gave her the puppy at 4 weeks. It was one of a litter of 6, and he kept the parents. She said the pup is housebroken, but will have accidents at night if she is not taken out. She also said that she is super-tiny, about 5 pounds. I've never had a housedog, and never had to housebreak one, and am totally new to this breed. Should I consider taking this dog? I'm open to any suggestions - please email me privately as I found this site by accident, and may not be able to find it again! Thank you!
