I was fortunate enough to be given two peke puppies by a good friend, John Shaw. John is the owner of a Pekingese that is now the top winner in the world. Perhaps you may have seen a picture of the peke or have heard of him. His name is ENG/AM/CAN/DUTCH/ASIAN Champion Shiarita Emperor Roscoe.
The puppies that I have now is by his half-brother who is a double grandson of English Champion Shiarita Cassidy. The mother is also a double granddaughter of Cassidy, by English Champion Yakee For Your Eyes Only.
Unfortunately, I'm contemplating spaying these two girls as I'm extremely inexperienced in owning pets (they are my first pets in my life). However, the breeder, John, tells me that they have one of the best line-bred pedigrees that go back to some of the most important English pekes.
What do I do? Do you have a suggestion? Are there other pekes in America that are descendents of either the Shiarita, Yakee, or Jamestown lines? These are some of the names I got off the pedigree of my puppies.
