I just got my newest addition a week ago and things are going very well. Yes, there is a bit of growling, but I am used to that an know it will stop as soon as the new baby knows his place in the pack. Good luck. I hope the rescue works out for you. These little guys are terrific (as are Pugs).

Our family rescued a Peke recently, and we too were afraid about his getting along with our other pets. In 5 wks. time our dog Scooter, also a male; has "taken" to this little darling and his ego has risen to the highest. EVERYTHING the older dog does is noted by and copied in every way. They are great "buds." Also have 2 cats. 1 is tolerating the situation, the other doesn`t like anyone. Wouldn`t let this sweet boy go for love nor money!
