Selected as Way Cool Wedding of the Week for the week of Valentines's Day 1996. Vote for us for Way Cool Wedding of the Year!!! |
We were married on September 30, 1995 at Immaculate Conception Church in Columbia, Illinois. Over 400 of our family
and friends attended. It was a whirlwind of a day. Thankfully, there were no major catastrophies, although two
hours before the wedding, you couldn't convince Andrea of that! Todd was supposed to be at her Aunt's house at
1 p.m. for photos with the groomsmen. At 1:30, the photographer informed Andrea that he wasn't there yet. He did
show up about one minute later, however. The problem was that the formal wear store gave Todd's brother a vest
instead of a cummerbund like the rest of the groomsmen. The correct cummerbund appeared at the church 30 minutes
before the 3:00 wedding. From that point out, everything went smoothly. We did have to put up with a very hot,
humid, and windy day which made the outdoor pictures difficult, but our photographer, Mark Parrone of Belleville,
Illinois, did a great job. Please see his work in our photo album.
After a wonderful reception at the Legion Hall in Columbia, we spent our wedding night at the Adams Mark hotel (now known as the Marriott Columbia Hotel) in downtown St. Louis, with a brunch Sunday Morning. On Monday morning, we flew to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for a 10-day honeymoon at Couples resort in Jamaica. There, we enjoyed the sun, parasailed, climbed waterfalls, rafted down a river, and much more. Check out our honeymoon photos.
It was truly a day we will never forget. We are still very much in love and still enjoying the romance, laughter, and good times that started on our first date back in 1993. Thanks for stopping by, and we hope you enjoy the site!
