ihave two pekes....one 2 yrs old and one 6 yrs. old...the 6 yr. old has allergies, itches and scratches constantly (worse at times) and is on oral prednisone for this which helps...it seems she licks the air, also....my other peke has no allergy problems thus far and he never licks like that so i have always assumed this was part of the allergy problem....how old is your peke, does he have allergies, too? tonya also has seizures and is on phenobarbital daily, i have wondered if this is why she licks but apparently not, if you have this problem, too.
