We have a 10 week old Peke, male, named Ludwig. His personality is what it should be by Pekingese standards! However, I am having trouble with him getting overly excited while playing, and fun seems to turn into serious aggresion. Lots of biting and barking--especially when I scold him with firm, but simple "NO!" Quiet times don't exist and we have also scolded him when he gets to rough (biting hard and alot of growling) with a few squirts of water. I prefer not to hit him in the face as this can really create "head-shyness" as he gets older. I don't want him to fear hands. I know he is only a puppy and is definitely teething now, but this aggressiveness worries me.
