Hello, I hope you have solved your paper training at this point, but in case you have not, this is what I did with my pekes. The first day home, every hour we would take an outside break. Then over the next few days we went to every two hours, as mentioned earlier the praise goes a long way. Our pups used the paper indoors, and we slowly reduced the amount of paper, and moved closer to the door. We did this slowly over the weeks, and before we knew it, they were trained! With the occasional accident, within six weeks, our pekes skipped the paper and went to the door when they needed to relieve themselves, and by the time they were 4 -6 months their schedule became regular and our outdoor time is business and play. I think the key is consistency, and understanding. This has never been a stressful transition for us or our pekes, we never expected them to "behave", we just offered them ample opportunities for relief outside, and kept a strict schedule which comforted them and they adapted to rather effortle
ssly without feeling any demands. Goodluck!!
