---My 12 yr old female peke takes a cortizone shot then gets lots of rest. make sure she doesnt do stairs or furniture for a while. be careful lifting the dog and keep it as quiet as you can. she will walk when she is up to it, some put them in a crate for a few hours everyday to restrict movement. ask your vet about your particular case. thats about All I can tell you. Mitzi is doing Ok and she has had that in the past.---Brigitte
