My Fred (who's 3) never was very interested in the litterbox, he just king of
sniffed around it a few times--although I have found him licking up stray cat litter
off of the floor!!! However, I have found my Buster IMMERSED in the litterbox on 2
occasions snacking on cat poop (which gave him diarrhea). A baby gate was my
solution. The cat just jumps right over it.
