Rawhide bones should never be given to dogs, as they do not break
down and digest at all. They enter the stomach, as a chunk of gooy
leather, and come out the same way, there is no nutritional value
in a rawhide chew at all. Also there has been instances where there
have been stomach blockages , caused by big hunks of rawhide.
