The peke that survived the Titanic was owned by Henry Sleeper Harper of
the Harper Brothers publishing company. He and his wife were traveling
in Europe and bought the dog in Paris. Someone has contacted the French
Kennel Club to see if Sun Yat Sen was registered and if there is
anymore info about him. I have an excerpt from a book that has an
interview with Mr. Harper. E-mail me if you'd like me to send it.
