My peke just turned 18 on April 18/98. He was my grade 2 report card present.
He barks a lot now because he is almost deaf.
His eyesight is still good at 1 to 15 feet. His teeth were extracted at 14.
His back legs are very week and can only walk a few steps at a time.
Overall he is a very healthy dog for his age it's really a shame about the legs.
He had bad arthiritis in his paw 2 years ago.
We treated it with devil's claw root and his discomfort went away within 2 weeks. Now, I'm giving it to him again.
