Our daughter's Pekingese/Lhaso Apso developed bladder stones and we had to have them removed by surgery as one was so very large. Is this a common occurrence in Pekingese dogs? We are adopting a 2-1/2 year-old Peke and if this is common in this breed then we want to change the diet of the one we will be adopting and hope to avoid the bladder problem.
