First off, please do NOT breed the dog. Breeding requires a
lot of hard work, especially with pekingese. On top of that,
there are way too many dogs that are unwanted in this world
already. There are plenty of pekes available for adoption.
It sounds like the pet store owner is simply interested in
making money, not in the welfare of the dog.

As for dudley nose, it is when the nose has flesh-colored
patches on it, rather than being solid black. While this
was a disqualification for show pekes at one time, I think
the more important thing is that no show breeder is going
to be purchasing his or her peke from a pet store. The
dudley nose is not harmful to the peke.

Please do the right thing and have your new addition
spayed or neutered.
