My female has had this problem for years with just her right eye. I've had to have the vet pull the irritating lashes every six weeks or so to prevent them from rubbing on the eye and causing infection. She's very good; they put a drop of numbing solution in her eye and they use a tweezer to pull the hairs. It doesn't seem to hurt her at all. Best to take care of it often. Usually when her eye gets a little watery is when I look for those pesky lashes.
