Try keeping him confined to a small area when you are not there. My puppy is 3 months old and trys to
wait until we go outside. I have achieved this by keeping him confined to the bathroom at night and
when I am not at home. A puppy doesn't like to soil the area where he sleeps and eats. When I am at
home, I watch him closely, but he usually will go to the newspaper that I have in the corner of the
kitchen. I also strive to keep a regular schedule for walks, even though I would rather sleep in on
the weekend. Good Luck!
