> The same thing happened to our peke, Phoenix, and we took her to the vet. As we got her sterilisied we had her stomach acid tested, and there did not seem to be enough acid in it. Sometimes she threw up dark yellow, sometimes only foam, and even sometimes her food. She either grew out of it (and unfortunately into Epileptic Seizures) or we found a good way to help reduce it thru changing her from only dry food, to a mix of 1/3 c. canned food with cornflakes or potatoes for Breakfast, and then dry food for the evening. She used to get me out of bed every night, in spite of the "stomach-drops" the vet gave me to correct whatever seemed to be wrong with her stomach fluids. Knock on wood, it only happens now every once in a while..esp. in the night after something very stessful for her has happened (Bathtime and such).
