I have a Pekepoo and a new 13 week Pekingese. I am very pleased with both my babies. To tell you the truth, the Pekingese has been much easier with toilet training than the pekepoo was. Yet my pekepoos' personality so far, being 1 year old has had more vitality and character. The barking problem has been high though , where as the Pekingese does not have such a problem with barking, and is more layed back. I wouldn't trade either for anything. They are both female and a joy to me. When you choose your puppy, watch carefully as he plays with other puppies. This helps to see what type of personality they have. A layedback dog isn't going to be very aggresive with the other
dogs. Dont worry so much about breed as you should personality. From mine and other friends experiences, in the end breed really doesn't seem to matter when your looking for a friend.
