Hi Lara, I got my peke from a great breeder in Lafayette, Ca.near San Francisco, her name is Lucille Tulloch her number is 510-283-3713. He is the best dog I have ever had. The sweetest disposition, everyone that seems him wants him. She takes alot of time with her puppys and raises them well. You can also check the breeder list on the Pekingese www page, but I don't know the breeders there. There are quite a few in Calif. Goodluck
