I have a Peke who I rescued from an abusive home. He too had an eye come out of the socket prior to me adopting him. My vet repaired it, but suggested care when walking him and to use a harness instead of a collar. The force on his neck could cause the eye to pop out again. She also performed a little plastic surgery to tighten then skin around the eye. I hope this information helps a little. Good Luck!
