Your Peke is probably rubbing his ears on the carpet rather than his face. Pekes have very hairy ears and ear infections are common among them. My peke often does this, as well as on pavement . This tells me that his ears are bothering him and are very itchy. If you have no ear cleaner I would suggest taking him to the vet to get some. Also, peke eyes are always wet and runny. This is due to their pushed in noses and most times they do not have a duct that will drain their tears. Not a problem unless it gets red, itchy and a discharge develops.
