I have a pekingnese/cocker mix who has just started displaying aggressive behavior at age 6-7. I'm going to see a behaviorist about it. I believe I may be reinforcing some of her "top dog" behavior. What works well for her is to put her on the leash when I want her to do something she doesn't want to do (like take a bath or have her hair cut). Somehow this seems to create an order that makes her become more submissive.
