The habit she has is that she has to take a beany baby (or a sock) when we take her outside. She will run all over the house before going outside to get one. She has done this since we got her. She gets large amounts of attention ( we've gone back to calling each other Mommy and Daddy) so is she lonely or is this a security thing or is it just normal?

This is hilarious. My "Hopie" has had "Cow" since we got her 6 years ago and she never touches "Cow" and plays with her like the other stuffed animals she has. She is almost reverant to "Cow". "Cow" stays in Hope's bed at all time and she sleeps with her. Hopie absolutely wants nothing to do with the plastic squeeze toys. Only her wiffle balls and stuffed animals. It is amazing that she has the same charecteristics that I am reading here. Just last night a friend of mine gave her a plastic squeeze toy and she wanted nothing to do with it but when another friend received a stuffed dog, she wanted that dog. Amazing!!
