Hi,
I wasn't aware that pekes can injure their backs by jumping down stairs or furniture. It saddened me to read about such a tragic accident. It will definitely make even me more careful with my pekingese. He is only 7 and 1/2 weeks old, and he is already very curious and likes to venture around the house. I take him to my office every day too, and he is very friendly and likes to play with everyone. It would pain me terribly to have anything happen to him.
